I make stuff for the web.

Hey! I'm Alex Kern. I'm a dedicated 17-year-old web developer with a lot of strong opinions (yes, I'm still in high school). I build the simplest thing that could possibly work.

I really enjoy programming in Ruby, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, making absolutely awesome web applications. I'm especially interested in creating RESTful web services.

Currently, I work for Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Artcentric Networks LLC on some super-duper top-secret projects.
